Revision

Examining a translation to check that it is fit for the agreed purpose by comparing the source and target texts and making corrections, where necessary. A reviser corrects omissions, additions, and alterations in the target text based on his observations of the source text. A reviser also oversees the language quality of the target text depending on the purpose of the translation.
